My name is S. Ryan Smith and I have been crusing the net since late 1996. Although I doubt you have heard my real name before, there is a small chance you have heard of some of the other names I have gone by over my not so breif trip into the murky waters that consist of the Internet, such as Kingbob, Skakore, Scrapper and Asylum. In this time I have become greatly interested in persuing a career in the feild of Science Fiction writing. Unfortunaly most people can't just pick up a pen and create a bestseller, myself included. This is why I created this web page. It's main purpose is to serve as a base where I can post my new writing and (hopfully) gain some critical feedback I so greatly need. Also, I am an avid comic book fan, with a great interest in the X-Men. On this site you may find the odd Fan Fiction (e.g. a story dealing with copyrighted charcaters in settings unavailable in thier natural form) lying around here and there. Last but not least I have a small run of Fan Fiction called R.O.B.Y.N. that was written for the Fan Fiction Group called DCF, or DCFutures. This is a futuristic sci-fi/cyberpunk piece set about 100 years in the future of the DC Universe. I have to urge you to check this out because I feel this is one of the strongest stories I have ever participated in. Anyway, I Have kept you far too long, so move along and see if you can find something that interests you. I hope your suprised! Sublime Creative Sub-Genuis |
DISCLAIMER/WARNING: While most of my writing is based around original creations, setting and characters, I do venture into the world of Fan Fiction on an irregular basis. "Like a virus consuming it's victim, the City sprawls outward form the East Coast of North America over the Appaliation Mountains not stoping until it hits the Mississippi Sea. A vast expance of metal and plastic, it spans out from Maine to Georgia engulfing everything in it's wake. Run by giant corporations the City bends to the whim of data, and those who control it. When 17 year old Evan accidentally hacks into a databank he uncovers a piece of information and realizes that it could topple the balance of power for the entire City. Now, being hunted by Corporate Police, Bounty Hunters and Data Pirates, Evan now has one choice; Give up the info or Run..." Runnerz Document created on 03.19.99<
